The Innovator of the Year award is The Journal Record's, 13-year tradition of honoring top-notch business innovation and recognizing companies that foster economic development in Oklahoma.
ChargePad is a mobile charge capture application developed for anesthesia providers. The application was developed to allow physicians to capture the anesthesia charge record via an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad and later submit them electronically for billing. Once transmitted, the information can be reported on, analyzed and submitted for billing to the appropriate insurance company, government agency, patient or other payer. The application helps ensure billing information is more accurate and no charges are overlooked. Billing and collection processes are resolved more rapidly, because all charges have been accounted for at the time of service. Administrative costs are reduced, and the anesthesia providers' profitability is maximized.
